While bed and breakfasts these days come in all shapes and sizes - many of them luxurious enough to rival the fanciest hotels - you can be sure each will have a charming owner, passionate about ensuring you enjoy the best stay. So don’t be afraid to ask them for sightseeing tips, or even sit down for that cup of tea and slice of cake some offer on arrival… you never know what interesting information you might find out.
