Cosy Double
Our two Cosy Doubles, featuring a contemporary style, are nestled under the Georgian mansard roof and can be accessed via six flights of stairs. These compact rooms provide three-sided bed access, a writing table, storage, and a chair, along with en-suite shower facilities. Designed for functionality and value, they are perfect for overnight stays during shopping trips to Bath, stopovers for rugby or horse racing events, or a peaceful retreat before a business meeting. The rooms offer charming views of ‘Mary Poppins’ chimney pots and include access to all guest house facilities, making them ideal for solo travellers or a relaxed couple.
Cosy King
Comfortably proportioned and featuring large sash windows, we offer three well-appointed standard rooms. Two of these are south-facing with views of our quiet, well-stocked courtyard garden, while the third overlooks Great Pulteney Street. Each room includes the convenience of an en-suite shower, with the ground-floor Abercorn room providing the greatest accessibility, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Superior King
These rooms embody the charm of a glorious Georgian townhouse, featuring high ceilings, sash windows, and intricate plaster cornicing. Furnished with cosy beds, comfortable armchairs, and wardrobes with wooden hangers, they offer everything you need for a delightful two or three-night stay in your home away from home.

Four Poster
For those wishing to indulge in a little Georgian splendour, these rooms may just qualify! Over 300 square feet in area, more the size of a small apartment, these rooms are memorable. For that special anniversary, to celebrate a birthday or business achievement, these rooms offer ‘that little bit more’. With delightfully high ceilings and magnificent rattling sash windows, these rooms are the zenith of what this spectacular Georgian property is able to offer.
Accessibility
The houses were built in 1798 and are Grade I listed. Owing to their age and listed restrictions, there are some features which might make access difficult for people with limited mobility. There are two ground-floor bedrooms which have a level entry walk-in shower, grab rails around the shower (vertical and horizontal) and a pull-down seat.
