The Windsor and Eton Living Advent Calendar is a festive family favourite that has become a seasonal must-do for locals and visitors to the town centre.
Running from 1st to 24th December, this series of free and enchanting family-friendly events promises to bring the magic of Christmas to life, one door at a time.
Every evening at 6:15pm, a different local venue will open its “doors” to reveal a surprise performance or activity that embodies the spirit of the season. From live music and theatre to captivating storytelling and festive fun, each event is a unique experience crafted by local businesses and performers to spread cheer and wonder.
Last year, audiences ranged from 40 to over 400 people per evening, proving that this is a must-see highlight of the festive calendar. Whether you’re a regular attendee or discovering it for the first time, Windsor and Eton Living Advent Calendar promises to make your December evenings unforgettable.
• Magical Surprises: Each night’s event is a closely guarded secret—expect the unexpected!
• Warm Hospitality: Many venues offer complimentary nibbles and drinks, adding to the cozy festive atmosphere.
• A Community Celebration: This event showcases the creativity and generosity of our local businesses, all working together to create something truly special.
• Loyalty Card: Receive a special loyalty card which will be stamped at every event you attend; the more events, the more stamps and the more chances you have of winning a prize in the Grand Prize draw on Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Eve, the series culminates in a spectacular finale at Windsor Parish Church and a Grand Raffle, featuring prizes donated by participating venues. Make sure to attend for a chance to win up to 24 gifts while soaking in the festive spirit one last time before Christmas Day.
