The By Brook is a very special place
Imagine if you could see the By Brook through new eyes, make stunning images of what is in front of you or create more artistic views of rivers and water in general. If that sounds good, this photo walk is for you!
In a relaxed, informal group of no more than 15 people, we head out to three great locations on the By Brook. You learn great ideas for how to show the beauty of the scene in front of us.
We will focus on:
Reflections
Movement and flow
Trees, grass and water
This walk is suitable for all levels of photographer and all types of camera, including phone cameras. Matt will help with basic tuition in all areas. However, please note that this is not a technical workshop and Matt may not know all the details of your particular camera!
The details
Please bring your own camera and make sure that it is fully charged.
Meet outside the Selwyn Hall at 10.30. The walk will last for 2.5 hours.
The workshop involves some gentle walking. Please make sure you dress appropriately for the weather.
Access issues: please note that this walk features some areas of rough and muddy ground and is not suitable for wheelchairs.

It was once at the heart of Box’s manufacturing industries and local farming innovation. Discover which mills were recorded in the Domesday Book, why the church built a later medieval mill, and why one mill was called “half a mill”.
