About

Event update: 21 November 2024

The forecast high winds and powerful gust winds (anticipated gusts of up to approx. 46/49 mph between 9am and 9pm) have unfortunately meant that the fireworks element of Maidenhead's switch-on event have been cancelled.

The switch-on event will be going ahead but with some changes:

The Festive Market which was due to take place in Library Square will relocate to the Desborough Suite.

The planned acoustic music and entertainment for the daytime will take place, as planned in the Desborough.

The live music, entertainment and switch on from the Main Stage outside the town hall will happen but the programme will start at 1630.
