Each month we will be bringing top names in Jazz to the Civic to perform at our 'venue within a venue', the Café. Instrumentalists and singers renowned for their talent, will hosts live music nights featuring the best sounds in modern jazz along with some funk and soul flavours thrown in.

A rare opportunity to see a full swinging big band here @ the café. This is sure to become a regular feature of our jazz nights and we are excited to have them perform for us.

Park Lane Big Band is based in Bath and is one of the South West's premier full strength big bands. Established in 2000 by band leader Dave Pegler, they have played at corporate events, private functions, charity events and jazz nights throughout the South West, South Wales, London and Birmingham as well as touring in Belgium, Italy and Portugal. Their repertoire covers a wide range of music from big band classics like Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller to the contemporary work of Gordon Goodwin and Tom Kubis amongst others. They also give monthly concert performances at Lansdown Golf Club in Bath.
