About

A Royal Celebration at the Races – with free admission when booked in advance!

Royal Windsor Racecourse, set on the banks of the river Thames and in the shadow of Windsor Castle, has a unique royal heritage and is steeped in racing history. Racing at Royal Windsor has been enjoyed by many members of the Royal family over the years; more recently including the late Queen Mother – one of the sport’s greatest supporters - who regularly attended Monday racing fixtures at Royal Windsor when in residence at the Castle and enjoyed watching her horses run at the track on numerous occasions.

To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, Royal Windsor Racecourse are hosting a FREE Racenight on the new Bank Holiday on Monday 8th May. Expect an action-packed evening of thrilling racing, a vibrant atmosphere and a host of coronation-themed food and drink offerings!

If you are looking to travel to the races like royalty, take advantage of the track’s unique Royal River Package and enjoy a boat ride to and from the racecourse to Windsor Promenade, with incredible views of Windsor Castle from the Thames.

There really isn't a more stunning or fitting setting to round off a royal weekend in Windsor! Visit windsor-racecourse.co.uk to register for a free admission ticket.
