The 18th Cheltenham Food + Drink Festival takes place 20 - 22 June 2025
Pamper your palate and join family and friends over one great three-day weekend to celebrate Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival. Enjoy live music, free wine tasting talks, cheese tasting, artisan food producers, along with a myriad of demonstrations from some of the country’s leading chefs.
What is the Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival?
The Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival is a popular annual event for Cheltenham, both with visitors and locals. Past festivals have been a gastronomic delight with over 200 exhibitors from both the local area and surrounding regions.
The festival has always provided an astonishing variety of tasty goodies from oatcakes to aphrodisiac quince, the widest range of baked goods, meats, fish, cheeses, jams, chutneys and much more. This is the regional food event not to be missed.
Visitors can expect a fresh selection of food from Thai to Indian and Moroccan through to the classic British fish and chips along with the traditional taste of real ale from many breweries. The cooking demonstrations are always popular with local chefs and guest celebrity chefs, as are the International Wine Tasting classes and the Food & Drink Talks covering many subjects in a relaxed, fun interactive environment with some of the most well-known and respected experts in the UK. Subjects covered include real ale, wine and nutrition.

Montpellier Gardens, the venue for the Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival, is located in Cheltenham town centre. Cheltenham is situated off junctions 10, 11 and 11a of the M5, Cheltenham lies within the main motorway network in easy reach of London, Bristol and Birmingham. It is easy to travel to Cheltenham via coach and train. With many direct services available from most major cities. Coaches come into Royal Well Bus Station in the town centre.
