The third Cheltenham Balloon Fiesta will be returning to the racecourse on Friday the 17th and 18th of June 2022. (Please note the event does not continue through the Sunday, unlike previous years).
Celebrate the start of Summer at the Cheltenham Balloon Fiesta with two days of amazing entertainment. Including:
Hot air balloons*
Hot air balloon glow*
Fireworks
Live arena entertainment
Funfair
Local traders
Food and drink stalls
+ so much more

The annual event is a great opportunity for pilots across the UK to come and fly and to showcase some thrilling stunt acts and 2022 will be no different. Changing the format slightly, the Cheltenham Balloon Fiesta will be opening on Friday evening to warm up for a full 12 hours of fun and entertainment.

Located at junctions 10, 11 and 11a of the M5, Cheltenham lies within the main motorway network in easy reach of London, Bristol and Birmingham. If traveling from the north on the M5 it is possible to leave from junction 9 and take the A435 south. The racecourse can also be reached from the East and West by the A40.
