Escape to the country and drive through the gates of Lainston House, up the winding drive, to enter a world where historic charm and contemporary elegance blend seamlessly. This charming 17th-century country house is a luxurious five star hotel within easy reach of the Great West Way route, encapsulated in 63 acres of Hampshire countryside. Delicate archways and loggias frame the picture perfect entrance and a small amble reveals a beautiful 12th century chapel ruin and pretty dovecote amidst copious countryside.
Just two miles from Winchester City Centre, Lainston House Hotel offers 50 luxurious and individually designed bedrooms with two unique restaurants! A new evening only eatery, The Wellhouse, where you should expect immersive eating and drinking where the skill of woodfired cooking and home grown produce come together with the very best of local field, farm, forest and fly, all overseen by talented Executive Chef Phil Yeomans. And The fine dining restaurant, The Avenue, which takes its name from the magnificent mile long avenue of lime trees viewed from your table. Executive Chef Phil Yeoman’s love of the British larder and his inventive personality along with produce from the hotel’s kitchen gardens are evident on the superb menus.
