Roaming the Paths is based in Pewsey, in the heart of Wiltshire.
We have a wide variety of events on offer, all based around helping people access and enjoy the countryside. The emphasis is not on distance covered, but quality time in the countryside.
Our aim is to open up the beautiful countryside to all who want to enjoy the benefits of fresh air and the great outdoors. To give you the confidence to go out into rural areas.
Events are varied and changing. From just relaxing in a flower filled meadow to exploring the hills of an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty. Know what the countryside code means and how it helps you. Learn about farming and where our food comes from. Eat and enjoy locally produced food. Find out about plants and wildlife and why biodiversity is important. Learn how to sketch or draw, see the landscape in all its forms. Find out about our ancient history and the heritage preserved in the landscape. Read the land and the skies, learn of folk-law, mythology and customs.
Most of all, just to go for a Roam and relax.
The types of events vary according to the season and we are open to requests. Whilst not all events will be either fully accessible or family friendly due to the terrain covered, we will have events that will be suitable. We are inclusive and celebrate diversity.
Activities will tend to be either half or whole day activities, but there will also be a few shorter and longer offerings.
