Part of the Windsor Estate, this ancient Royal Landscape offers over 4,800 acres of forests, grasslands, lakes and gardens. Amongst these stunning landscapes, you will find plenty of monuments, ruins and wildlife! The Deer Park is home to around 500 Red Deer amongst one of the largest populations of ancient oak trees in northern Europe!
Surrounding the town of Windsor is the famous River Thames, the longest and most well-known river in England. It is navigable for 215 miles starting within the western parts of the Great West Way, in the Cotswolds, right through the centre of London and into the North Sea. The most beautiful stretch meanders through 20 miles of the Royal Borough of Windsor, with the town being one of the main focal points, showcasing its history along the water’s edge.
