Trade Product Information and Experiences:

Create a tour along England’s greatest river, the royal River Thames, which starts in the Cotswolds and winds its way through history, to London and the sea. Stop off at the delightful cities, towns and villages along its banks including: Faringdon, Oxford, Abingdon, Wallingford, Reading, Henley, Marlow, Maidenhead, Windsor and London. Sit and relax as beautiful River Thames scenery glides by on a passenger boat trip! Explore different sections of the Thames on sightseeing cruises with lunch or afternoon tea and combine with a visit to a nearby attraction.

A variety of guided tours are available from Midsomer Murders to a Platinum Jubilee tour of Windsor. There’s historic palaces, castles, houses and abbeys to discover as well as an abundance of museums. The River & Rowing Museum at Henley on Thames tells the story of the river, history of rowing and Henley and includes the Wind in the Willows gallery.

For foodies, there’s Michelin heaven in Bray, historic pubs and inns and fine dining. Whether you’re looking for five star luxury to group-friendly hotels, there’s plenty of choice as well as excellent pub and restaurant with rooms accommodation.

There’s a wide range of activities available from traditional self-drive boats, sailing, rowing, canoeing and kayaking to paddleboarding, or hire a skipper and luxury boat (available up to 12 seater).

For walkers there’s the Thames Path National Trail which follows the river to join up with England’s Coast Path in a newly created stretch along the Thames estuary. From London to Reading you’re close to the Great West Way and at Reading the Thames meets the start of the Kennet & Avon Canal. Take a look at the Travel Trade Guide  for inspiration for your next tour.
